Development in Raleigh and Cary Areas
{April 22, 2013}—As mentioned in a previous post, the Raleigh-Cary area has been ranked #2 in the nation in terms of business and career growth. Recently, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Wake County Economic Development program released a detailed report providing information on the boom in the area.
Wake County Economic Development indicated several new or expanding companies in the Greater Raleigh area, many of which are expecting to bring new jobs to the area. These include Blue Bell Creameries in Morrisville, Novella Clinical in Morrisville, and Hampton Inn & Suites in Raleigh. The Greater Raleigh area has also been ranked highly on several lists related to economic development. This includes being the #2 Best Place for Business and Careers and #3 for the Highest Number of College Graduates.
